ACADEMIC SPEED DATING SESSIONS

The first step of a COIL experience is to identify your COIL teaching partner. Academic Speed Dating sessions are events that provide the opportunity to meet with colleagues from the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

During the event, you are expected to make a short presentation of your academic background followed by a short description of the COIL component you would like to implement.  After the introduction to the session, there will be the chance to introduce yourself to several small break-out rooms that are organized by academic discipline. This will be the opportunity to share your ideas and find your COIL teaching partners!
