Executive Coordinator of the PIC US-MX
For more than a decade as Dean of International Affairs, Dr. Cervantes-Villagómez worked on the establishment of several academic cooperation agreements between Universidad de las Américas Puebla and internationally recognized educational and research institutions, who became strategic partners for UDLAP. She was also the founder of the International Center for Language and Culture, a specialized center for teaching Spanish to foreign students.
Dr. Cervantes-Villagómez was president of the Mexican Society of Artificial Intelligence, president of the Mexican Association for International Education (AMPEI), as well as founder and president of the first Chapter of the International Association of International Educators Phi-Beta Delta. For all her actions in the field, Dr. Cervantes has been recognized in Mexico as an influential leader in International Education.
Currently, Dr. Cervantes-Villagómez is still active in teaching and research at EDUPROTEC, A.C. Center for Educational Innovation and Social Inclusion. She has also been Honorary Consul of France in Puebla since 2002.
Administrative Assistant PIC US-MX
Sandra has worked for Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Chihuahua as an
administrative and counselor director of the Multicultural High School, being also in
charge or organizing school trips abroad. She has been advisor for visiting professors,
professor of English for specific purposes, specialized in business and law. She is an
expert in innovative educational technology.
Sandra is also translator and interpreter with a broad experience working in-house and
freelance.
