Since 2020, AMPEI has trained and coached U.S. and Mexican teaching teams,  on the use of  COIL methodology for the internationalization of the curricula.

In 2022, the program was expanded to include the participation of Canadian partners with the support of the U.S. Embassies in Mexico and Canada and AMPEI (Mexican Association for International Education) as the implementing partner.
